Cosplay (or costumed play) has become so popular with fun-loving teens & young adults. Many cosplayers dream of designing & constructing their own costumes to wear to conventions, events, photo shoots, theatre productions and costume parties. In this unique class, fashion designer and cosplayer Pamela Ptak will teach students a wide variety of skills using professional sewing tools & machines and help them start designing & creating their original costumes! Each week, Pamela will work with students to help them envision wonderful solutions to their creative problems using pattern making, sewing, and other construction methods. This class is a great choice for beginner and intermediate sewers. This class is taught by fashion designer Pamela Ptak who makes custom garments for red carpet events & worked 12 seasons on designer collections for the Paris Haute Couture and NY Fashion Week. Bring to first class: Bring a notebook & pencils plus any pictures or sketches you have of your cosplay idea. SEWING MACHINES ARE PROVIDED IN CLASS.
