Service Description

Learn how to make fine quality alterations to garments to perfect the fit or to redesign a garment. In this class, instructor Pamela Ptak, who's created custom couture garments and perfected the fit on thousands of gowns & business clothes for New York Fashion Week collections and for her private clients, will show demonstrations on altering actual garments and then assist students in altering garments they bring to class. As with all AFI fine sewing classes, the projects in every class are greatly varied so students may repeat the alterations classes to attempt more difficult projects each session. Bring to first class your sewing kit with scissors, needles & threads and several garments you wish to re-fit. Sewing machines are provided in class.
