Service Description

Kids Intro Sewing 4wk class is a great introduction for young, beginning sewers. Students will learn to sew by hand and be introduced to home sewing machines. They will gain experience with a number of sewing tools and learn about commercial patterns and a wide variety of fabrics! Instructor Pamela Ptak will provide easy sewing fabrics from her fabric room for students to practice on and to add to their Sewing Sample Book. Students will make small samples of various techniques. Projects started in this 4wk introductory class can be continued in future classes or at home. SEWING MACHINES, ALL TOOLS AND PRACTICE FABRICS ARE PROVIDED IN THIS CLASS. Bring to first class: All students should bring a fresh, empty 8.5x11 or larger notebook to first class to begin their sewing sample book.
