Service Description

This six week class introduces serious art students to drawing with pen, brush & ink on paper. Working with a variety of inking quills and brushes, you will learn to add incredible mood & drama to your art and to master some of the classic techniques used by the finest draftsmen in history. You will see & study examples from the renaissance, the golden age of illustration & the present. This class is taught by award-winning artist Scott Hanna whose work has been shown in the Smithsonian Institute in Washington and the Museum of Comic Art in NYC. Bring to first class: Bristol paper drawing pad, a croquil pen set and black india ink. Further supplies will be shown in class for you to purchase later in the term.
