Learn what goes on behind-the-scenes at professional photo shoots! Discover the secrets to creating beautiful fashion or cosplay costume shoots as you model clothing you wear to class. Instructor Pamela Ptak will be your photographer, teaching you skills including those of the fashion stylist, hair & make-up artists! Pamela Ptak spent 7 years in NYC as an advertising Art Director on the prestigious beauty brand Cover Girl cosmetics... designing ads & tv commercials, selecting & hiring top NYC beauty & fashion photographers, super models, and some of the best fashion stylists, hair & make-up artists in the country. She decided on the type of image, selected the location, chose the fashions & make-up looks for each shoot. Then she selected the final shots to get exactly the mood she wanted for the ads. Now you can learn some of the secrets to making amazing shoots & create your own portfolio. Students are allowed to bring a camera or cell phone with camera to take their own still shots during the shoots. Students will also receive copies of instructors shots demonstrating special effects and photo shoot lessons. Bring to first class: No supplies are needed, but students are encouraged to do their own outfit styling at home & come to class prepared to try out modeling. This class is taught by fashion designer Pamela Ptak who makes custom garments for red carpet events & worked 12 seasons on designer collections for the Paris Haute Couture and NY Fashion Week.
