Discover the joy of designing your own original garments. This fun Fashion Illustration class is the perfect introduction to fashion design and can help prepare a fashion college portfolio. In this class students will learn the proportions of the fashion figure called a 'croquis', elements of human anatomy for fashion-style figure drawing, and begin to learn the basics of rendering textiles and how cloth behaves on the body. This six week intro fashion illustration class is followed in October with Intro Fashion Illustration 2 where students will learn how to make successful color renderings in watercolor & colored pencil. Bring to first class: 11"x14" or larger tracing paper or vellum pad and no. 2 pencils. Additional supplies may be used in later classes.
