Service Description

Learn how to draw animation art, design fantastic original characters, and create great story-telling with award winning illustrator & comic artist Scott Hanna. You'll also learn how to create expressive faces & bodies, how to show movement in a pose and interactions between characters! After understanding the character, students will develop a series of illustrations which feature movement of their characters to create their own animation sequence. A good starting place for students interested in a future in storyboard design, cartooning, animation, video game design, comics & graphic novels. Students will end the course with an understanding of the basics of cartooning & animation! This class is taught by award-winning artist Scott Hanna whose work has been shown in the Smithsonian Institute, the Museum of Comic Art NYC, the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art LA and the Cartoon Art Museum San Francisco.
